Towards the end of May 2018 these changes will happen at lastfm :-(

  • "groups, forums, and user playlists will no longer be accessible"
  • Label pages, venue pages, and the build site (extras built by the community to extend your Last.fm experience) will no longer be accessible.
  • comments on lastFM journals/blogs will be removed

So, if you have some data you wanna copy, do it fast

  • "I guess to avoid conflicts because of the General Data Protection Regulation (Implementation date: 25th of May). It's not said that these features will never come back in any way."

Personally, I'd have liked when lastFM made a visible notice on that on lastFM itself (e.g. when users log in, to make sure everyone really sees that).
